The Little Lionheads

Just saying, the World Cup is fantastic so far!

Just two pictures of the bunnies ... they haven't opened their eyes or started hopping around yet, but should be mid-week.

Soccer Bunnies

First of all, go U.S.A.!  What fantastic games the men are playing from all nations, but this U.S. run is very exciting.

Secondly our lionhead rabbit, BlueStar, had her babies yesterday, June 21!  She has three little gray blobs as you can see in the picture:
Bluestar's babies:  Chelsea, Abby, and Rory - 2 days old

Stay tuned and I will update their picture just like the chicks ... who are, by the way, terrible at posing for pictures.

As of now, June 10

As always happens at this time of the year, I am in the midst of writing narrative comments for all of you as mathematicians, teammates, and learners.  A few of you have emailed me asking if your grades (redone and late papers) have all been entered yet and my answer is, "No."  They will be before report cards are sent out, but as of now I haven't touched them in several days.

Once this week is over I will be updating the pre-algebra tab too ... but for now just begin with chapter 1 and use the practice test I have online.  Only Fiona and Sneha have asked to join the pre-algebra Quizlet page so I guess the rest of you are winging it?

Thank you all, by the way, for such a positive year-end trip experience.  I had a great time and I heard from the chaperones that they all enjoyed being with you all very, very much.

Enjoy your summer,
Mo ;-)

We're Trippin'

Preparing for the Year-End Trip:
*Please be at school by 8:00 a.m. on Wednesday, June 3
*Place your daypack AND your overnight bag together in the back of the Trow where you can find them again.
*You will want a flashlight and comfortable shoes for hiking and exploring in the bunkers.
*Remember that you won't be able to get into your overnight bag until around 4:30!
*Remember: $5-$10 spending money is optional, but you won't need it.  Please do not bring more money than that.
*Dress for warm but windy weather.  It is often cooler at the beach than inland, so be prepared for that!
*I recommend a light coat or sweatshirt for the evening.
But mostly, be prepared to have a lot of fun, get to know some new people better, and get a head-start on being an awesome advanced class for next year!
See you all in the morning,
Mo ;-)
