Student Choice Assignment: Order of Ops
Today you chose an assignment based on your comfort level with the order of operations. Hopefully you selected review and practice where you need it and challenge where appropriate. I have links to all of the worksheets below.
*Yes, you may change your mind and select another worksheet. Honestly, it's better to get "simpler" than more complex since you have time to select the other worksheets too ... and you want to be SOLID!
*You need to show ALL of your work ... ALL of it. Please use another sheet of paper if things get crowded or messy or just if you feel like it. Lined paper can help and it should be stapled to your answer sheet when you are done.
*Work DOWN your page; we'll talk more about what I mean by this in class, but generally steps should be laid out working down the page, not across the line (like writing a sentence).
Links to copies of the assignments are embedded in the title of each.
*Order of Operations - basic practice (no online copy available)
*Practice Order of Operations - basics with a bit more
*Order of Operations Exponents - focus on working with exponents
*Order of Operations Brackets - focus on working with grouping symbols
Be sure to check in TeacherEase for your score! You will get your test back in another week, but before then I will share it with you if you are eager to know and you find me at lunch.
Please note: I want you to focus on learning now, not on zoning in on what you thought you knew.
Due: You are responsible for one TUESDAY and any number over the rest of this unit.
