Assignment: Negative Order of Ops choice
You have four options tonight, but please complete the one that best fits your needs, not the one your friend is doing. Yes, you may complete more than one but yes, you owe me at least one of these.
*Basics 29 - Link!
This assignment was also an option on Tuesday, so you cannot turn it in again if you have already done so. This is the basic, two-step operations to get used to how negatives work with them.
*Basics 30 - Link!
This is the immediate follow-up to Basics 29 if you are still feeling the need for some basic practice.
*Order of Ops A - Link!
If your primary challenge is keeping track of steps more than reconciling the negatives, this one is for you. You should have a solid understanding of negatives in equations before tackling it though.
*Order of Ops with Exponents - Link!
Not worried about the steps or the negatives? Then how do you work with a negative that has an exponent ... or a negative quantity that attains an exponent once it breaks free of its bracket? This assignment is not for the faint of heart.
