Assignment: Pre-Test Quizlet
It is the intent of this assignment to allow you to practice the area(s) with negative numbers that you need the most feedback in prior to the math test tomorrow. Obviously, you can practice for hours and hours, but the requirement is to get 10 problems correct to receive credit.
I suggest:
*Negatives add and sub basics
or
*Negatives addition and subtraction.
Both of these sets obviously practice the same skills, but give you different numbers in the problem sets. The second set uses larger numbers and includes some absolute value problems.
I also strongly suggest:
*Negative order of ops.
and
*Negative Integer Review which covers all of the operations, but not the order of operations.
and
*Negatives Comprehensive Review which covers all of the operations including the order of operations and central tendencies. This is essentially the bulk of the test content next week.
There is also:
*Real Life Negatives, but there will only be a few of these on the test and clearly require the above skills to complete, so choose this if you have trouble with the wording of these kinds of problems.
Required: Complete 10 questions correctly from one of the sets above in "Write" mode prior to the math test on Friday morning, January 19. Send Mo an email, or bring a signed note or a screenshot to class. To receive credit, this assignment may not be handed in late.
