Today's topics:
*Today Mrs. Price came in to discuss "Go Guardian," our program that allows us to see students' NOVA chromebook device usage. We discussed the reason for such a program, why some sites are blocked automatically, and how teachers and Mrs. Price can see what has been on their screens and for how long by using this app at any time. We allowed them to ask plenty of "what if" questions, as you can imagine. If you or your child has questions about our tech agreement, you can see the guidelines that everyone signed and are thus expected to follow in their red planner folder.
*Our team math activity for the past 3 weeks has been The Marshmallow Game to work on communication, listening, and vocabulary ... not to mention using creative math terminology! Ask your child how their team has been successful and what (never who) the difficulties in recreating the structure have been!
