Enrichment!

We're excited about our new Enrichment Options that current NOVA students will be able to take in the fall.  They are the same classes with twists ... and you can select them!  Of course there are requirements and a form to fill out, but we think you'll like it.  This is our pilot trimester, so you can help us work out the kinks as well ...

Your packet should be arriving at a mailbox near you soon!  Keep your eyes open, because the deadline for your selections is to have your form back to the NOVA office by Monday, July 23.

Please select the Enrichment Tab at the top of this blog for copies of the forms, FAQs, and a place to ask questions.  There is an electronic option available there too, but I prefer the paper copies you received in the mail for my organizational sanity.

Postcards from the edge

It's July already!  I hope you are having all having a wonderful summer so far.

Postcards:  If you haven't read the project Mr. Gacek and I are trying to do this summer, see the previous post.  So far we have postcards from Fuchsia and Lucas; Cleo is on board to send one from New York soon.  Join us in mapping our travels!

Pre-Algebra:  For those of you studying pre-algebra this summer in hopes of passing the test in August, you should be in the throes of chapter 3 by now.  It's a big chapter that will probably need more time than the previous 2, so give it your full attention.  I have not set dates for the final exams yet, but you can target around August 17 in your mind.
