Trans Math: Multiplication of Fractions ws
*You should have received one of four worksheets:
- Multiplying Mixed Numbers
- Robot Rules
- Expressing Products in Simplest Form
- Multiplying Fractions
*Remember that you do not need common denominators to multiply; just multiply and simplify!
*Due Tuesday
QUIZLET: permission slips are due Wednesday.
*Receive one candy point if you bring in your signed slip on Tuesday.
Pre-Algebra: pg 245, 16 - 27
*Dividing Fractions
*Please follow these three steps:
1) change to an improper fraction
2) flip the second fraction
3) choose a method: cross-cancel, factors, or Laurel's
4) multiply & simplify (if needed)
*You do not need to change the improper fractions back into mixed numbers, but they should be simplified!
*Due Tuesday
TEST over lessons 5.1 - 5.6 on Thursday, 2/11
LAST DAY for the pop-quiz alternative assignment, 2/12
RETESTS will be given February 22- 26
LAST DAY for late and missing papers, 2/26
