Trans Math: data, graph, and 3 observations
*You should have the data from your PIG game in a frequency table. You should have separate tallies (totals) for you and for your partner.
*You should have a graph of your data in two different colors: one color for you and one for your partner. Your graph needs a key. Your color should be on the bottom of the graph, your partner's should be on top of yours. This is called a "stack bar," by the way.
*You need to make 3 observations about this data: how does your experimental data compare to theoretical probability? ONE observation should consider your data alone, ONE observation should be about the combined total data, and ONE observation should be about whatever you find most interesting about the data.
*Wondering about what Mo is looking for in your observations? Check the Mo'Help button and follow the observation link.
*Absent today? (Jackson & Surabhi only) You are excused from this assignment.
Due: Friday
Pre-Algebra: 3 similar figures
*Mr. Jeff went over some more geometry terms with you today (for Mr. Kenis, tomorrow) and you practiced measuring angles in class.
*Your assignment is to enlarge, to scale, 3 drawings.
*Accuracy is critical!
Due: Monday
