Homework for Monday, 3/12

If you're keeping track, this is the first assignment of the spring trimester!  All of those other papers you have are yours to keep now; late papers, redone papers, etc.  We're starting fresh --

Homework:  Fractional Parts ws

*A lot of talking by me today ... sorry about that!  I promise that this will be a very hands-on unit, so be prepared for a variety of activities coming your way.
*We practiced taking notes today (with varying levels of success), so now you can practice using them.  Learn from what you wrote or did NOT write: can you answer your own questions that you have now?  Do you WISH you'd written something down, but thought you would remember it?  Aha!
*Yes, you must use colors for this assignment.  Seem simple?  Good.
*Can an answer be a decimal or part of a whole box?  Check your notes.
*Show me your work.  This practice is for setting up problems that cannot be solved in your head, so practice good habits NOW.
*Sorry, but I do not have a copy of this worksheet available online.  If you were absent today (or you are Everett), you will have to make this up when you return to school.
