Mo has left the building

(the title reference is to the t.v. show Frasier, by the way)

Just a heads-up that I am GONE: away from telephones, internet, and any sort of modern contact until Sunday evening, August 3.  If you send me an email I won't be able to get to it until then.

If you are studying for the pre-algebra test, you should be IN chapter 6 by now.  If you are not, you should consider yourself behind ... well behind.  Remember that you want to pass this test with clear understanding, not haphazard stabs at these skills.  It is critical that you are competent and capable of keeping up with the students who had pre-algebra last year; algebra class is not the time to be learning algebra skills.
*Quizlet is good practice, but if you have not asked me for acceptance yet, then you'll have to wait out this week.  Directions for how to get into Quizlet are on the Mo'help tab of this blog.
*Practice Test keys are on the Pre-Algebra tab of this blog.  I would essentially consider those practice tests as required.
*Like terms (add, subtract, multiply, divide, solving inequalities, equation busting) are ALL non-negotiable skill sets.  Pretty much, everything outlined in the pre-algebra letter is non-negotiable as a skill set ... missing one or two with an arithmetic error is understandable, but you will need to show your work so Mr. Jeff can see that you understood what you were doing every step of the way.

Make sure you RSVP to Jeff regarding the pre-algebra test date (see right), although he is gone with us on vacation so he won't get back to you for the week either.

If you have Enrichment questions, please see the blog post directly before this one.  A copy of everything is there, but at this point you are on the "as classes are available" list.  Just FYI.

Alright, I'm off to paradise!  Hopefully I will read a lot of books, see a lot of sunshine, and play a lot of games with my family well into the wee hours of the mornings.
All the best,
Mo ;-)
