Assignment: Fractions #5
Today you most likely have an assignment associated with fraction subtraction.
*Find your common denominator.
*You may either subtract the whole numbers and fractions separately
OR
You may change to improper fractions, subtract, then turn them back into mixed numbers.
*If you are borrowing, remember to borrow the number of pieces in your "pie," then add to the number of pieces you already have.
