Assignment: Two Proportion Application Choices
1) MT Page 40 (aka Mid-Test, but it's not a test)
*Use proportions to solve these problems. Label everything! Show your work (no calculators).
2) The Riding Stable
*This worksheet will require you to figure out unit rates for some of these problems; on those problems you will also need to go through more than one step to reach the answers.
*Unit rates, for example, will need to be used on problem E. Figure out for one horse how much it will eat (using a proportion), then apply that to the 6 horses. Ditto for problem E.
*Use proportions to solve these problems. Label everything! Show your work (no calculators).
*This was the tougher of the two worksheets, but totally doable. ;-)
