Assignment: Supermarket Math - Link!
Complete the six problems using proportional problem solving as we did in class.
ALL work must be done by hand (no calculators), use labels, and be shown on the page.
*Please note that the way we did it is more detailed than the algebraic formula they show you, but it is the same thing with one step left out of the directions on the page.
- First - Multiply diagonally
- Then - Divide your answer by the remaining number.
Get used to the steps and the problems will still seem "simple" even as the arithmetic gets more complex. Trust me. ;-)
