Well, the snow certainly threw off MY plans! (At least I have my internet back now) Hopefully we are all adjusting to the movement of assignments and deadlines well. I apologize if the communications from all of us seem confusing, but we work with you to get it all straightened out.
For math:
-Wednesday your homework was pre-test choice, either Quizlet or a hard-copy of an assignment you requested from me. Those assignments were graded complete (if you completed it) or incomplete (if you did not hand anything in to me).
-Thursday we had our Fractions Test and there was NO homework.
-Friday I handed back your Fractions Test to you and the expectation is that you will complete your test corrections as homework and hand it in Monday. Because I do not regularly assign weekend homework and there is no "grade penalty" for late work, you may certainly turn this assignment in later, but it will be marked as late in TeacherEase and be recorded as a zero until you remember to turn it in. It is up to you if it's worth saving for Monday night when you WILL have your regular math homework as well. *Note - even if you received 100% on the test, you need to turn in your "Test Corrections" sheet for credit!
Retests are forthcoming and happen during lunch periods in room #1. Retests are given by section and will be announced in class.
This next week we will begin delving into fraction extensions like ratios, proportions, percentages, and conversions, in addition to continuing our Frodoland work. Busy but fun stuff!
Stay tuned,
Mo ;-)
